IASA Assistance Program - ComPsych Services

Personal problems - stress, job pressures, legal worries and financial concerns - can affect your work, health and family. Demands in your personal and professional life do have a major impact on your health and well-being.

We at IASA understand the pressures and problems that school administrators face. You don't have to face these things alone; one of IASA's member services includes the Guidance Resources® Program provided by ComPsych where you can discuss your concerns in the strictest of confidence with an experienced professional. These expanded services are available at no additional cost to you.

The components to this IASA member service include:

Confidential Consultation on Personal Issues: Via a toll-free number, you have twenty-four hour a day access to confidential assistance from an experienced clinician. If need be, you can be referred to a local ComPsych network provider in either your community or miles away from home if you'd feel more comfortable, who can provide more in-depth assistance.

Legal Information and Resources: You can access information and resources to answer questions that may be causing you concern. Information and resources on a variety of issues are available including divorce and family law, real estate transactions, and criminal or civil actions. If you require individual representation, LegalConnect®  can refer you to a qualified attorney in your area for a free 30-minute consultation and reduced fee representation thereafter.

Information, Referrals and Resources for Work-Life Needs: Whether you are a new parent, a caregiver for an elder, sending a child off to college, buying a car or doing home repairs, you're bound to have questions or need resource referrals. Work-life specialists will help you sort out the issues and provide you with information based on your specific criteria.

Financial Information, Resources and Tools: Financial issues - saving for retirement or college, the expense of divorce, or estate planning - can arise at any time. Financial professionals can be consulted who will help you sort through the issues and provide the resources to find the answers.

While these types of cutting edge programs are usually employer provided, IASA understands your need for confidentiality. We are your association and we understand. Visit the Guidance Resources® Program on-line at www.guidanceresources.com. Your health and well-being may depend on it.

Please contact the IASA Office at iasa@iasaedu.org to obtain the ID number to access the program.
