Electronic registration is now available - register here today!
School and District Administrators are cordially invited to join us for a breakfast seminar as part of the IASA Fluency Project. The Fluency Project is our latest effort to increase awareness for the need of every school in Illinois to have a research-based intervention program to help struggling students. Using funds from a RESPRO professional development grant, the IASA has scheduled school improvement seminars in locations throughout the state to provide information to participants about effective intervention strategies and promote the use of technology-assisted learning tools. Fluency Coordinators will also be available throughout the year to offer assistance with school improvement planning to individual schools that request help.
The program “Using Technology to Increase Student Achievement in Reading and Math,” will feature a discussion by Tim Barth, former Director of Curriculum at Belleville (IL) High School District 201, about the need in our schools for research-based intervention using technology-assisted learning tools. He will also describe his experience with the student intervention program AutoSkill Academy of Reading and Math as an RtI and NCLB solution.
View the podcasts about the project with Dr. Brent Clark and Tim Barth.
